SEA DOG BREW PUBS SLATED TO RE-OPEN IN 2003

PORTLAND, MAINE (December 19, 2002) -- Sea Dog Ventures, Inc. announces that it has completed the contract arrangements for their purchase of the Sea Dog Brewing Company. In accordance with those contracts, Sea Dog Ventures will re-open the Sea Dog Brew Pub locations in Bangor and Topsham. The former Camden location will not re-open but Sea Dog Ventures, Inc. hopes to find another suitable location in the area. Sea Dog Ventures, Inc. determined that the Camden location was inadequate for its long term needs and has come to a mutually agreeable termination of the lease with the owner of the Camden property.

"Our plan is to re-open the Topsham brew pub by early February and the Bangor location by mid-April," stated Fred Forsley, co-owner of Sea Dog Ventures. "In addition, we're looking for a building to purchase in the Camden area so we can re-open the brew pub there as well. I'm very interested in talking with people about properties that would be suitable for Sea Dog and look forward to re-opening that restaurant as soon as a location can be found."
