SEA DOG SUMMER ALE: NOW AVAILABLE IN 6-PACKS

TOPSHAM AND BANGOR, MAINE (March 5, 2004) - Due to consumer demand for Sea Dog Summer Ale, starting this April, Sea Dog Summer Ale will be available in 6-packs in retail locations throughout New England. Until now, this product has been available solely on draft or packed at random in the Sea Dog variety 12-pack, Motley Crew.

Sea Dog Summer Ale is a traditional American wheat beer that's dry, crisp and refreshing. With its inviting golden color, mellow malted wheat flavor and less hoppy characteristics, it's sure to please those looking for a clean, cool taste sensation on long, hot summer days.

"Nice, gentle, aromatic Saaz and Hallertau pellet hops are used in the boil and Mount Hood leaf is used in the percolator," noted master brewer Alan Pugsley. "Pale Ale, Crystal, and Munich Light malts combine with whole wheat to finish the recipe."

Sea Dog Summer Ale is available from April - September and has 4.4% alcohol by volume. To celebrate this exciting new addition to the Sea Dog line-up of packaged products, two parties will be held:
